Terms of Service

• "Service" means RefineQuant websites, dashboards, tools, AI features, backtests, charts, and related software.
• "You" means the person or entity using the Service.
• "User Content" means prompts, rules, uploads, notes, strategy inputs, and other material you submit.
• "Subscriptions" means paid plans, free trials, renewals, and related billing access if offered.

You must be legally able to enter into these terms and comply with applicable laws. You are responsible for your account credentials, the accuracy of information you provide, and activity taken through your account.

You must keep your login secure, use the Service for lawful purposes, and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

RefineQuant provides educational, research, workflow, charting, and simulation tools. You may use the Service to create, test, compare, and review strategies for your own internal use, subject to these terms and our Acceptable Use Policy.

Some features may require a paid subscription. If billing is enabled, plan pricing, renewal timing, and any trial terms will be shown at checkout or in-product before you are charged.

Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel before renewal. Fees are generally charged in advance. If GST applies and RefineQuant is required to collect it, GST will be added or included as required by law.

You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited right to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service.

RefineQuant retains ownership of the Service, product design, software, prompts, workflows, documentation, and all related intellectual property, excluding your User Content and third-party materials.

• Illegal use, fraud, harmful content, or infringement of others' rights.
• Market manipulation, deceptive trading conduct, or using the Service to facilitate unlawful activity.
• Abusive scraping, bulk extraction, credential attacks, reverse engineering beyond what law permits, or attempts to bypass limits or safeguards.
• Uploading malware, interfering with service integrity, or performing unauthorized security testing.

The Service is provided on an evolving basis. Uptime, uninterrupted availability, specific features, and historical compatibility are not guaranteed. We may update, suspend, remove, or change features, models, limits, pricing, or workflows with reasonable notice where practical.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RefineQuant is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, trading losses, lost data, or business interruption arising from or related to the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected paid Service in the 12 months before the claim, or AUD 100 if you have not paid us.

You agree to indemnify and hold RefineQuant harmless from reasonable claims, losses, liabilities, and costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide notice through the Service, by email, or both where reasonably practical. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us and try to resolve the issue informally first. If we cannot resolve it informally, disputes will be handled in the courts with jurisdiction in Australia, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
